What we do:
When we receive your console, we will diagnose the problem and set about repairing the console.
First step is to clean out the Xbox 360. We use special solvents to clean out the motherboard both surface and underneath the GPU, CPU, Southbridge and all other chips on the 360 motherboard. Once we have got the Xbox to a polished shiny state we then set about performing a full BGA re-flow on the Motherboard.
We use a state of the art BGA re-flow station to do all our repairs which guarantees all the solder in the console is shiny and most importantly connecting well. This solves all problems that you can possibly encounter.
The next step to ensure the temperature of the console stays within our threshold and doesn't RROD again.
We apply Arctic silver thermal compound to ensure fast heat transfer from the GPU and CPU.
Stress testing begins and we run the Xbox 360 playing Call Of Duty MW2 which uses a huge amount of processing power to play. If the console doesn't stay within our ideal temperature threshold then we apply the 12V fan mod to which ever side of the console is the warmest.
