PS3 Repair: Blue Ray Drive....

If your console is displaying one or more of the above faults then you need to book your PS3 in for this repair, as it will need a new official Sony Blu-ray PS3 laser.

Please bear in mind this fault can also be intermittent.

Games might load sometimes, but not others. Likewise, some games might work over others.

This can be caused by dirty or damaged PS3 games / Blu-ray movies.

It is important to note in this case that a new laser will read damaged discs better than an old PS3 laser, however to replace the laser would not be a permanent fix.

If you are unsure about the quality of your discs used in your PS3, please feel free to send them with your Playstation console to us, and we can test them for you.

Please ship your console to us CAREFULLY. Package it with padding, bubble wrap,packaging, crumpled up paper anything to ensure the console is protected during transit! Include a copy of your invoice and make sure to list the problem so that we may help you as thoroughly as possible.

We suggest you use a trackable shipping service so that you are informed of when it arrives to our office. Once it does arrive we will repair and send out the following day. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE MEMORY CARDS, ADAPTERS, GAMES, POWER BRICK, AV CABLE OR HDMI CABLE!
